From now through Friday, September 16th, Venus and Mars will be moving into a square alignment through a degree that describes ‘gracefulness’ for Venus, and ‘clarification’ for Mars… together, by square, there will be a natural conflict between these two motivations.
In my previous Venus post, Part 2, I wrote that this square aspecting with Mars could potentially offer a tense hypersensitivity…
Further, I wrote that there may be complicated misunderstandings, and aggressive needs for clarification; that communicating thoroughly, and perhaps even extensively, could be either necessary—or advantageous… it will also be important to see things from the perspective of another’s vantage points and reasonings; communications in collaboration regarding potentials and possibilities are auspicious on the 16th—as ‘conversations are likely to illuminate issues…’
Seeking out advice, guidance, or counsel could behoove your efforts now—particularly because the 16th, specifically, may offer opportunities to take a chance, a risk, or a gamble… not to act on anything—not yet—but to explore everything that might be required to later be utilized. Further, it’s essential, too, to not feel, think, behave, or act recklessly or impulsively.
But there’s more…
Interestingly, the one and only detail that Venus in Virgo and Mars in Gemini have in common through this square beyond an exact degree: is Mercury.
Separately, and in square, both Venus and Mars are being governed by Mercury—and Mercury is currently retrograde in Libra, applying an opposition to Jupiter… and so Mercury is being governed by Venus—however retrograded—which would suggest that Venus has a slight edge on a very anxious and frustrated Mars in Gemini… which then suggests that this square between Venus and Mars represents caution over impulsivity, indecision over spontaneity, and efforts of reconciliation over disputes—particularly toward the bigger than big ideas and larger than large ideals.
This week is also a build-up to next weekend, and, more specifically, to next week…
Keeping this in mind—toward whatever you’re ‘fighting’ for—it may behoove you to remain calm and reserved and gracious in response, toward whatever it is rather than causing a stir or uproar—which would be a more natural Mars reaction… “sometimes we get upset about things that needn’t really upset us, or we put on an emotional show because we feel it’s expected of us—being wound up and constantly upset or demanding emotional attention can put people off… staying true to your emotions and remembering your self-worth may be very important now.”
Still, with Mercury being the main component in commonality—communication and exchange, learning, and commerce are key.
Delineated down to the bare bones of it—expressions of need or desire are in direct conflict with your motivated intentions and/or the proper/formal skills necessary to actualize your needs or desires for the moment in your current Now… and it’s likely that you’ll require collaboration with an/Other to move your needs/desires forward—should you choose to be gracious and open to suggestions…
