Happy Equinox to you! Today marks the sun’s ingress into Aries from Pisces—the astrological new year!—symbolizing energetic renewal and structural rebirths…
This year’s month of March promises to flip the script a bit, and it begins with the sun in the first decan of Aries through the 30th, while the decan rulership remains within the motivations of Mars.
The astrological year ends through Mars—and is reborn and revived through Mars.
Through this first decan the sun moves forward, separating from its recent square with transiting Mars… and otherwise, through the 30th, makes no further aspects.
However, it is worth noting that the sun, in Aries, will be co-present with Chiron, Jupiter, and the asteroid Vesta—and Mercury, though Mercury is moving far ahead of the sun these days, and the sun will not connect to these planets within this decan. And, further still, on March 25th Mars will move into Cancer after being in Gemini since August of last year… as this decans ruler, despite the sun not making any aspects, this ingress will indeed hold influence over these next ten days.
From March 20-25th Mars will be governed by Mercury, which is moving within Aries… and then from the 25-30th, Mars will be motivated by the moon…
Let’s talk about it.
