Happy Solstice to you and yours…
As the sun moved from Gemini to Cancer to mark the summer’s solstice—it moved into the first decan of Cancer and will move through this decan until July 1st.
This is a symbolic time of year, in many ways, and the sun’s connections, now, provide many clues as to how these symbolisms might be interpreted.
The sun will connect to Saturn by trine through this decan, connecting exactly on June 28th at 7*06’ Cancer, as the moon illuminates this in trine to both the sun and Saturn, creating an inexact grand trine, with Mercury nearly conjunct the sun and within orb… which I will delineate below.
And then, on June 30th, the sun and Mercury will meet in superior conjunction at 9*09’ Cancer, which is a degree that emphasizes ‘actualizing potential’… delineations below.
Finally, the first decan of Cancer is a decan governed by Venus and is represented by the 2 of cups in the tarot—a card that is infamously associated with ‘love at first sight’, deepening bonds, connections, and compromise… let’s look into it.
