Mars in Leo in Connection with Chiron & Uranus

As I write this, on June 23rd, Mars is separating from a connection to Chiron through a degree emphasizing loyalty…

Chiron, as asteroid representing the Wounded Healer, as in ‘the wound that will not heal’, suggests a certain amount of tenderness here, as Mars, nearly always indicates a severing, or separation—and severing, in this case, whatever is already struggling to be reconciled may feel particularly harsh.

In this case, through this degree, the emphasis of loyalty comes to a critical point—to a point forewarning those who willfully decide to break away or sever ties should expect just that: to be separated. This said, for those of you wishing to sever a tie more permanently—this is a good day to do so. For those of you struggling to reconcile a potential severing—or a recent wound—today may feel a bit raw.

Something may feel, or actually be/become, concluded—or, contrarily, unresolvable.

It is interesting to point out that the origins of the word ‘loyal’ derives from the Latin definition of legality, meaning that which is legal—legal defining ‘that which is established, appointed or authorized’, which is to say, most ultimately, in a most willfully conscious way: there is a need, instinct, or temptation, now more than usual, to oppose that which is status quo in one way or another, however subtle.

Where within your personal reality are you feeling compelled to part from tradition and/or expectations?

Then, on Monday, June 26th, Mars will build upon from today, before exacting its aspect to Uranus by square, thereby indicating an additional potential harshness—as a Mars/Uranus square typically implies its own type of breaking away, or breaking through, though more so in a rebellious manner, or in an effort to be contrary or seemingly uncooperative or impossible…

To be more clear—whatever opposition being experienced through Chiron will likely feel much more natural, instinctual, and/or tender and whatever is to be experienced through Uranus will likely be much more willful, aggressive, and/or dramatically expressed.

There could be an impulsiveness associated through these energies—especially as Mars moves through the theatrics of Leo—or simply an inclination toward personal risk, recklessness, or a more severe impatience.

The degree through which these could be experienced regards open communication.

This could indicate dramatically disappointing or shocking news, or realizations—or it could create a need to ‘break away’ from a circumstance or situation in which a potential crisis is emerging, or a ‘breaking through’ with something or someone you’ve been struggling with upon learning something new or acknowledging new insights or awareness toward something. Further, dialog, in general, could be much more direct, abrasive, and/or confrontational.

Either way, for better or worse, ‘answers may magically appear…’

Regardless of what manifests now, it will be important to remain aware and attentive—and to try to resist temptations to take risks that you wouldn’t want to bite back should they not result in the way you prefer.
