Yesterday, quickly after connecting to Pluto in conjunction, Mercury moved into Aquarius… and will continue moving through Aquarius until March 2nd.
Mercury’s time in Capricorn was extended due to retrograde—a retrograde which began in late December and into January—a retrograde ever so conveniently timed to inspire the review and reflection regarding the ways in which we utilize our time and resources, as well as our motivated energies… this retrograde was timed in an effort to inspire new ways of strategizing achievements and accolades alike.
Work smarter, not harder.
“The greatest enemy of good thinking is busyness…”
—John C Maxwell
Especially now—as Mercury moving through Aquarius will likely quickly attest to finding new and improved ways of utilizing energy, brain power, and sparks of insight.
Consider the element of air… it’s everywhere, all of the time, and can be as light as a breeze—or as vicious as a derecho. Consider how we manipulate air, how we use it to our advantage, and the mechanics of how this is accomplished… through this time, through March 2nd, consider how you might utilize your own energies in ways that resemble the mechanics of elemental air—and accomplishing much, with as little as a wild wind to ruffle up the landscaping of your environment, reorganizing it in a way that more appropriately bends to a nearly silent will and natural force by nature.
“We often think that our affairs, great or small, must be tended continuously and in detail, or our world will disintegrate, and we will lose our places in the universe… that is not true, or if it is true, then our situations were so temporary that they would have collapsed anyway.”
—Maya Angelou
Now, although still very much remaining within the umbrella of Saturnian rulership, Mercury is delighted for touches of Uranian insight and innovative daring… in Aquarius, Mercury is allowed an opening to do what Mercury does best—get things moving…
Wherever Mercury is within the chart is where the wheels begin to spin.
Mercury inspires the connecting of the dots.
In Aquarius, Mercury is able to make better use of the dots.
When Mercury is moving through Aquarius it’s an ideal time to fully research something, and also, to reflexively reflect on feelings of restlessness—and to move!—as in moving your body in motion toward something…
And to travel.
It’s also an excellent time to think.
Try, through this time, to embrace motion—but perhaps much more essentially—try to resist busyness for busyness’ sake, as well as unnecessary noise and distractions…
Mercury in Aquarius, perhaps above all, is an open invitation for change… and for more severely timed and/or unexpected announcements—through any facet there is: newspapers, tv programs, social media, snail mail, letters, or word of mouth.
By March 2nd—most assuredly—you will be aware of, understand, and directly know at least one new truth, essential detail, or morsel of knowledge, by which you can more effectively navigate your personal reality—through which you can more appropriately manipulate your personal environment.
