Mercury has been in Pisces since March 2nd—and will be within the realm of Pisces until March 18th—and so we are currently experiencing Mercury well within the midst of Pisces as I write, which is to say that Mercury is moving through the middle of Pisces…
It is within the middle of Pisces that Jupiter chimes in by decan governance.
Jupiter chiming into anything typically represents an expansion or inflation of that which it is regarding…
This does not negate the celestial fact that Mercury is both in detriment and in fall within all bounds of Pisces—with or without Jupiter’s influence—which is to say that Mercury is more or less unable to do its typical works within the energies of Pisces… because Mercury prefers to be alert, focused, and mentally sharp—and in Pisces, Mercury’s powers become slowed, dulled, and carelessly unaware of any focused parameters of perspective. Mercury, when in Pisces, is much more comfortable to explore the outer parameters of experience and perspective, impulse, and/or understanding.
Mercury, in Pisces, is somewhat entranced into being interested in the invisible, the unexplainable, and the misunderstood…
Mercury, in Pisces, is entranced by the unknown and unknowable.
Mercury, in Pisces, is sort of tricked into exploring the hidden-most depths of the psyche, the most deep-ended layers of consciousness we typically know nothing about—because we’re much too preoccupied or inundated with the irrelevant details of reality.
In Pisces, Mercury puts its talents and tricks into the mind, the subconscious, the psyche, and the connection point within that links the universal with the collective.

As always, with Mercury, there is a duality to deal with—and in Pisces, which is another type of duality altogether, this choice is one of blind knowing.
Astrologer Dane Rudhyar writes of Mercury in Pisces, that Mercury’s “main message is that there must be a ‘change of mind’, or metanoia, referred to in the gospel, which means ‘transformation of consciousness’ rather than what is commonly understood as ‘repentance’…”
For one to change one’s mind—depending on what being of uttermost importance—one typically possesses an inner knowing… otherwise, there is no guarantee, and thereby considered somewhat risky, scary, and/or uncomfortable.
Where within your personal reality, subconscious, or psychic realm could you use a healthy change of mind?
With Mercury, our thoughts can literally go either way—and this directionality is quite powerful in that it changes everything from there on out: simply one thought.

When Mercury meets in superior conjunction to the sun, which occurs March 17th at 26*34’ Pisces, our thoughts are greatly highlighted, for better or worse, and the ability to ‘see’ the underlying energies within the thoughts we keep and the ideas we harbor, the words we perpetually reutilize, and the mental strategies we so often misuse will also be highlighted for us to more appropriately reassess all of it—to see it for what it is, and for what it isn’t; to see it for how it serves us, and how it absolutely does not.
Please understand, however, that these glimpses of magical delight, fancy, whimsy, and seemingly divinely orchestrated events, feelings, thoughts, and ‘hunches’ you may very well experience through this transit, as Piscean energies collaborating with the trickeries of Mercury are so so very convincing—please understand that much of this may simply be your ego trying to trick you… it is mercurial in nature, after all.
Your ego will likely not be a fan of you attempting to change your mind…
This choice, of course, is always yours to make: to see… or to remain entranced.

Mercury will meet the sun through a degree that describes realization and conclusions…
Visualization would be helpful through this week. In fact, it could be everything.
Particularly so if you’re working toward a goal, project, dream or ideal… this degree supports efforts proven—efforts made in the face of whatever obstruction arises.
What you put into something now, is what you’ll get from it—and, in kind, what you make of something now, is what you’ll gather from it. Perspective is everything.
Your potentials to truly see something as it is—as it really actually is—will be ripe.
This, however, should not be an opportunity for sabotage or martyrdom—as is always likely through Piscean energies—for whatever it is you see, or do not see, will then become your responsibility to improve, fix, adjust, or eliminate once Mercury moves into Aries. Even in Pisces, Mercury isn’t too keen on woe or whining, and definitely not a fan of bemoaning through Aries… and I’ll post separately for the sun and Mercury moving through Aries. Everything changes—whether you’ve changed any of your thoughts or patterns of thinking willingly or not—which is why it is so crucial through this transitional week to willingly and consciously make these necessary changes within your personal reality now, before it’s done for you.
Mercury and the sun will ingress into Aries very shortly after the superior conjunction, on March 19th and 20th, and all of these Piscean transitions will hold the potential of new beginnings should you choose to see…
Should you choose to change your mind.
