In Lieu of the Sun/Mercury Cazimi at 24*06' Gemini

Hello! It’s been awhile… and I’ve missed you.

In lieu of the sun/Mercury cazimi that just occurred—at 9:30am PT—as well as a current personal backtracking, of streaming ‘Sex & the City’ reruns at all hours of the day for the last entire week, which, however silly or cliché, has inspired the Carrie Bradshaw within myself—to ask questions out loud again, and share the presumed solutions…

When the sun and Mercury connect in cazimi, which is to say conjunction—er, that highlighted connection of its most intensely connected conjunction, within the core of it all—it is an acknowledgment of new opportunity; in most ways, understood to be an opening to/for new understanding of something—something new, something old, something blue… something bold.

With Gemini, however—it’s likely something new and out of the blue.

When this connection occurs in Gemini—this new awareness can be somewhat harsh.

Believe me—I’ve been Carrie Bradshaw’ing presumed and unenlightened misunderstandings alike in regard to more discernibly informed celestial prophecy at/toward/for/with many folks for the last week or so… most of them coming out of the woodwork with questions; astrological, symbolic, and phenomenological, as well as theories of the foundations of cosmic energetics and the fine-linery thereof.

Most interestingly—as this sun/Mercury cazimi/conjunction occurs at the degree in Gemini that it does—this is a degree that emphasizes ‘enhancements’.

This degree exploits the efforts one makes to ‘make a personal mark in the world’.

What one puts effort into actually doing—in an effort to procure eventual enhancement. Naturally.

To do so, one must prune—like one would do with a plant, or crop, in an effort to allow this necessary growth… otherwise, it would just be overgrowth. Overgrowth, in any form, other than money, opportunity, or potential, is never ideal.

Overgrowth, otherwise, impedes the real, and more prosperously useful, growth.

The key, now, is to rid yourself of excesses.

Streamline.

Refine.

Less is more.

Even Einstein only determined to contain so many numerical ideologies within his mind at any given time. He knew better.

Do not keep or contain that which is not serving you.

And sometimes—as these energies are Geminian in Nature—what needs a good pruning is what you thought you understood about something, essential or superficial. There is a real harshness in this—not so much a reality check, as Saturn is often responsible for, but, nevertheless—as Gemini tends to consider only what is essentially most fundamental, without emotionality whatsoever. The core information.

And when one’s core understanding of one’s own reality is somewhat shattered… ouch.

Talk about being within the heat and heart and core of the sun!—burn!

Today you may receive external guidance or additional inner knowing—either of which will basically, most fundamentally, and exaggeratedly without emotionality, inform you that: you’re doing it wrong.

However—the Chandra symbol take on this degree states: stunning ways to preserve lost knowledge and lost worlds; the treasure chest is full-to-bursting; a leavening agent… a corrective to shallow patterns of existence—you are able to be so multidimensional that vastly divergent realities can be lived simultaneously—care and efforts stand behind this place over myriad lifetimes, containing boundless intact awarenesses, held for the future… a contact point underneath conscious-awareness; faithful to the cause, integrity above all.

So, yes—you’re doing it wrong… but!—there’s something to it, something to take in.
