An Astrologically No-Nonsense Inspired Takeaway for July
July is another major turning point in the year. This turning point will involve a critical point, or crisis, through which to navigate. This critical point will likely feel quite personal, and may even sting a bit. Whatever emerges, surfaces, or manifests for you, within your personal reality, through these turnings and crises, will feel that much more personal—for several astrologically significant reasons, but perhaps in a much more subtle, though entirely significant, way—because the NN will shift into Aries on July 17th, right as everything becomes much more… acutely critical.
The NN has not been in Aries since June 22nd, 2006—which began on December 27th, 2004—and will move through the first zodiacal sign until January 11th, 2025.
These next eighteen months will be inspired by bold actions and blindly courageous instincts forward, through embracing your inner child, your inner knowing, and your inner presence. Aries energies are assertive, sometimes aggressively so, and curious. These energies are empowered through independently-minded endeavors and/or fiercely individuated ventures… and so, reflectively and reflexively, the NN moving through this zodiacal energy within your chart will dare—or double dare!—you to be more confident, more confidently assertive, more independently-minded, and more boldly and unapologetically trusting.
In spite of everything.
All of these necessary changes and ‘out of nowhere’ crises occurring in all directions—these will ask of you to look deeply inward, within yourself, which is to initiate a much more connected and trusting bond with yourself and your own self-awareness. This also inspires a great deal of self-motivated will through which you will then be able to more confidently and fearlessly (re)direct yourself as needed.
Aries energies are typically fearless. Unquestionably. Without reason. These energies know no better—in fact, it’s all these energies know. Fear has not yet entered the scene for Aries energies (fear enters the scene in Cancer, as there’s so much more to lose), as Aries is the zodiacal infant, and an infant instinctively trusts—trusts it will survive. Thereby, this is an ideal opportunity for you to begin getting to know yourself a little more intimately, in ways that encourage self-trust, and blind trust in others. It is a primal type of trust and it is a direct, nearly cosmic, connection—as near of a sense of fearlessness as one can realistically get within this physical realm.
It is also an auspicious time to trust in change… to trust in the flow—and forging your way through it.
Many of the more painful or harshly emotional changes and endings occurring now are almost too close for comfort in ways that feel quite personal… Chiron is moving through Aries, and has been since 2019—Chiron is the asteroid within the chart that represents the ‘wounded healer’, as wherever Chiron moves within the chart is where the personal collective is working to heal… and in Aries, it’s the individual—the inner child—it’s as if the single individual has been striving to reconnect to the inner child, desperate to regain that connectedness of inner trust, of trust in anything…
Chiron will be reconnected, however metaphorically, to the NN on February 19th of 2024 at 16*45’ Aries—a degree that emphasizes independent thinking, and an openness to that which lies largely within such extremist dynamics, between the likes of ‘right’ and ‘wrong’, or ‘good’ and ‘bad’… Aries energies rely on an openness to anything—to everything!—through an instinctive need to participate in awareness, to explore, to pursue, and to make nearly every mistake imaginable… and to learn, perhaps most importantly, to recognize that there is always a way forward—if you’re willing to adjust something here, or change something there, along the way. This panoramic landscape of actual reality that exists within extremes is where such reconnections can occur—these reconnections to your inner self, through trust, allow such extensive growth and such powerful boosts of confidence… you will be unstoppable.
But you’ll need to trust this.
As the NN moves through Aries, the SN will move through Libra, and so yes—it will become all too quickly apparent that there are always two sides to the story…
Always a reason to doubt.
Aries energies have a tendency to push matters away—matters, people, circumstances, whatever is to be perceived as in the way… and so communication will be more important by the day. Clearly communicating needs and desires, goals, and thoughts as you move forward will be crucial to your ability to continue learning to trust others, and to trust the way forward—even when you don’t always know exactly what the way forward might be. Aries energies make the way, never following, always leading, always moving forward into the unknown. This is either stupid—or trusting.
Libran energies will argue either side—it’s both stupid, and trusting.
And this is when some of the more painful realities will have to be explored, as that panoramic landscape of actual reality that exists within extremes… to trust that what may seem stupid to others isn’t always stupid, but bold, audacious, and courageously your own way of learning something really, really powerful.
It is to learn that doubt is as wasted an emotion as is worry.
(To worry is to distrust the universe—to doubt is to distrust yourself.)
Not everyone has this in them—in such a fearlessly animated way—to defy doubt.
You all, however, have Aries within your nativity—and depending upon what house Aries governs is where you will experience the most bold and fearlessly trusting movements forward, and will likely prefer to navigate this sector of your reality in your own way for the next eighteen months, even if that’s new to you.
Adventure doesn’t have to define some Indiana Jones script—adventure, by definition, is simply ‘an exciting or unusual experience’, and this is to imply an exciting or unusual experience—for you. Your idea of exciting or unusual will not be mine, etc. Adventure is when uncertain outcomes emerge, when a level of risk begins to rise, or when you may need to dare yourself a little to continue on… but it can also define that magical feeling, that most primal feeling—that feeling of simply being alive.
First recorded as ‘aventure’, this defined “what must happen”… and then the Latin definition took from this, “to arrive”.
This is interesting to me…
Aries, as the first zodiacal energy, as the infant, as the birth of it all—arrives by first breath, it is what must happen—Aries leads the way for others to follow, makes the mistakes for others to learn, and inspires others to trust that it will all fall into place.
Aries energies inspire others to trust—to trust in themselves.
Without moving forward—or making a move at all in any direction—nothing happens. Though, for Aries, every day is a new day—almost literally. Everything that occurs feels almost like some phenomenal event… there is an honest feeling of awe.
When one strips away all their ‘guarantees’ and measures of supposed security, all the man-made rules and laws and IRA’s… there is nothing to trust in other than yourself.
Other than your inner knowing, your inner instinct.
When everything changes, and nothing looks familiar, no matter your circumstances—there will always be you, as you will follow your own Self wherever you go… so it would be most beneficial to you to know yourself, to trust yourself, and to know what you’re capable of in a real pinch, in a dead end, in a competition, in the ‘happily ever after’ scenario that has played upon the backs of your eyelids since you were little.
To trust in awe and follow it always is bold. It demands something…
Anyway… these themes will play out for you, over the next eighteen months, the way background music effects the scene in a movie—it need not be the score of Indiana Jones adventures, it can be whatever feels exciting or fearless or simply new to you.
It can be the kind of score that sounds as it might sound as you arrive—within your own life—as if for the first time, seeing everything in a fresh, new and potentially ‘beginner’s minded’ kind of way.
