Solar Spotlights
Sun in Gemini, Cancer
The sun continues moving through Gemini, largely unaspected, until the Solstice—this year occurring on June 21st at 7:58am PDT/8:58am MDT/9:58am CDT/10:58am EDT—when its ingress into Cancer occurs just after a square to Neptune…
This square to Neptune occurs on June 18th from 27*39’ Gemini—a degree which describes ‘starting over…’ though, as it’s a square to Neptune, there could be some confusions or misunderstandings in regard to how, and further exaggerating this turning point as one which very much ‘opens a door’, though likely not until you’ve committed to being without a door for a bit. This pause of unknowing would be an ideal time to reflect and learn from your lessons before moving forward, and perhaps most ultimately—learning when it’s time to quit.
This square’s effects, though separating by Solstice, will likely continue to linger… though the chart for Solstice offers a handful of sextiles—particularly between Jupiter and Saturn, which will be the first aspect between these two since December of 2020, further explained below under Junctures of Jupiter. Sextiles will also be made between Mercury and Mars, Mercury and Chiron, and Neptune and Pluto—which will all, somewhat collectively, inspire some real moments of awakening, and the motivation to both (re)connect and take initiative toward new directions and/or ventures.
From Cancer, the sun begins to apply a retrograded Saturn, exact on June 28th, before reconnecting with Mercury for a superior conjunction on June 30th at 9*08’ Cancer…
The connection to Saturn, while also connecting to Jupiter—as Jupiter and Saturn continue to connect in sextile—should be a very lovely energy, and it occurs through degree that motivates ambitions…
You’re finally beginning to visualize, much more clearly, the actual living of your ideals—and then the superior conjunction, occurring directly after, through a degree that regards actualizing potentials is almost too timely. Chances are a possibility you hadn’t yet noticed or acknowledged will present itself in a way as not to be further ignored… it might not be the ‘golden ticket’, but it will likely take you in a warmer direction.

Monthly Moon Moods
The Moon Through June
On June 3rd—the moon is full in Sagittarius at 13*18’ and will accentuate the need to recognize magic and magical potentials within the everyday-ness of our lives… these energies will likely spark much inspiration and inner gumption to imagine yourself in a different light, in a different manner, in a different reality. There could be some uncertainty, or a possible setback—either of which potentially inspiring unnecessary dread or anxiety—try to keep in mind that whatever it is, it is occurring in an effort to offer you objectivity toward that which is overly subjective and personal.
On June 10th—the last quarter moon occurs at 19*40’ Pisces and this is a degree that highlights indulgences and abundance, as well as issues of nourishment—are your everyday tasks allowing for self-care? These energies will also likely illuminate ideals, toward that which we are working to gain and to make space for within our lives… though, as this is a last quarter moon, there may be a smidge of chaos or conflict—or confusion otherwise—in an effort to bring you back to your center and remember what really matters. Whatever arises will occur precisely to motivate you to make room for something that allows you more.
On June 18th—the new moon in Gemini at 26*43’ will indulge you to be curious… particularly curiosities toward more—expansions, emergences, and advantages overall. These energies will inspire new perspectives—larger, wider perspectives—opening your horizons two-fold… there are new adventures you now want to pursue, and new interests you want to follow, and new ways of thinking that you are now much more motivated to try to introduce to replace your outworn patterns of thinking. Further, there could be another level of endings and beginnings occurring, yet again, however subtly… nevertheless, a total ending within this sector of your reality.
On June 26th—the 1st quarter moon occurs at 4*29’ Libra and will continue to open your mind and horizons, though now something may require more direct understanding, or new information may find you—listening and being willing to learn would be beneficial to you. Obviously, as always, with Libran energies there is typically a decision needing to be made and/or unruly conflicts with indecision—these energies, more specifically, may assist you in a more instinctual and/or intuitive approach… any arguments occurring now should present you with a new viewpoint.

Mercurial Machinations
Mercury in Taurus, Gemini
Mercury moves back through the degrees of Taurus once more after being retrograde through the month of May—and will finally connect to Uranus, in conjunction, on June 4th at 20*24’ Taurus, a degree that forewarns reconsiderations…
You may need to wait something out, and in true Taurean fashion—hold steady.
Even in the midst of real confusion or upset… like a cow in a field—find your calm.
Much of the month of June, otherwise, regards an ability to take a breath after so much planetary traffic since March… and though things, technically, remain somewhat in flux, in motion, and in between a Here or There—it is important, this month, particularly where decisions and redirection are concerned, to focus on your center, and remain in a place of unknowing, however uncomfortable.
On June 11th Mercury will connect to Pluto as Pluto is moving back into Capricorn (until January of 2024), which is, in and of itself rather significant upon such an ingress, and this degree, as we are more than familiar with from its Capricorn perspective, regards motivations from its Taurean perspective…
Again, a real presence will be required of you to fully grasp and embrace the power within these moments… especially if you have yet to understand your own power.
Mercury will move into Gemini on June 12th, and immediately apply a square to Saturn, and thereby also slowing down what would ordinarily be really hurried, busied energies—largely in an effort to really focus and take it all in… this square will be exact on June 15th at 7*12’, a degree that regards the need for change, though it also has connotations for disappointments and/or dissatisfaction—and as its a square to Saturn, this is somewhat exemplified. Perhaps something is taking much longer than you would prefer, or maybe you will need to navigate a major setback… with Saturn in Pisces, there will need to be a real accountability toward healing, and understanding your personal needs in an effort to meet these needs in an everyday manner—and Mercury’s influence could manifest as a means to learn how to do this, or as a connection to a missing link.
Mercury then moves to square Neptune, on June 25th at 27*41’, the same degree that the sun/Neptune square occurred through—emphasizing starting over, or the need to do so…
And then the superior conjunction to the sun, on June 30th, at 9*08’ Cancer, connects to Saturn again—this time by trine—which should nicely solidify any goals you set for actualizing your potentials more ambitiously… actualizing is what Saturn does best—and when you visualize your sights on self-improvement, you are sure to make the necessary improvements needed to connect you to what you’re working toward overall.

Venusian Ventures
Venus in Leo
Venus will be moving at maximum elongation on June 4th at 29*09’ Cancer and peaking within its ‘wholeness’ phase within its 283-day cycle—a phase which inspires an inner courage to feel fully alive… I will be writing additional posts regarding Venusian Ventures for paid subscribers beginning this month and beyond which will follow Venus through its cycle much more intimately, as Venus peaks through this upcoming retrograde and begins an entirely new cycle in September that will last through March of 2025.
Venus opposes Pluto immediately after moving into Leo, on June 5th at 0*05’, reminding us that there may be still-unresolved issues reemerging—particularly those that tend to pinpoint and/or exaggerate dynamics of power and/or control… the degree through which this opposition occurs, from its Leo perspective, regards determinations, and so this may imply personal demands or stubbornness, though it can also suggest tensions—and the inevitability of release. It could be frustrating day and it would be most beneficial for you to find a constructive way to navigate its inevitable drama.
From here Venus squares the NN on June 7th (at 1*51’), and to Jupiter on June 11th (at 7*11’), which could inspire new realizations, and realignments… either of which can motivate wider horizons and larger perspectives in new directions, toward new ideals.
This square to Jupiter will be the first of three, due to Venus’ upcoming retrograde, occurring again on August 22nd at 15*18’ and September 16th at 15*19’.
Through the entire month of June Venus appears to be chasing Mars, in a very close pursuit, and eventually gets as close as three to four degrees, which by technicality, is a conjunction, however inexact… these energies tend to dramatize very impassioned feelings, for better or worse—with potential exploits regarding behaving badly.
This conjunction, however, is never exacted—and won’t be until February of 2024, in Aquarius, conjunct Pluto—and rather, Venus begins to slow quite dramatically and within the sign of Leo, an already dramatically toned energy—this should feel somewhat, well… dramatic!
As this slowing begins to be more noticeable, as ahead’s up, as this connection tends to cause quite a stir, Venus will square Uranus, on July 4th—which will be discussed in next month’s issue—though Venus will also square Uranus two more times, again, due to the retrograde, occurring on August 9th at 22*55’ and September 29th at 22*40’.

Mars Movements
Mars in Leo
Mars begins the month separating from its part within last months building t-square alignments with Jupiter, the NN, and Pluto within the fixed energies of Leo, Taurus, and Aquarius…
Mars moves mostly without aspect for much of the month, until June 23rd and 24th, when it connects to Chiron by trine at 19*35’, and then exacts a square to Uranus at 21*25’, and then continues to separate from these connections for nearly a week… through which Venus comes as close to Mars as Venus will get, only heightening any inevitability toward impassioned dramas.
These degrees, through the perspective of Leo, regard self-strengthening and messages being received…
Which is to say that it is looking highly likely that you will move into July with entirely new positioning, perspectives, and potentials.
Mars will move into Virgo on July 10th.

Junctures of Jupiter
Jupiter in Taurus: Degrees 4—10*
Jupiter begins the month separating from its very magical conjunction to the NN, which occurred on May 27th, as well as beyond its connection to Pluto or Mars…
Jupiter then begins to square Venus as Venus moves to fill in the void that Mars leaves, which I have already explained above.
From here Jupiter begins to connect to Saturn by sextile which is the first time these two gas giants have conversed since December of 2020—this exacts itself on June 19th at 7*12’, which is a degree that inspires a new faith in miracles and magic, as well as a new or renewed understanding or awareness of resourcefulness, as in utilizing what you already have or possess within, and actively overcoming difficulties that have recently (or always) been burdening you and your movements forward.

Structures of Saturn
Saturn in Pisces, Rx: Through the 8th Degree
Saturn’s movements through the month have all been previously covered within the appropriate planetary sections above.
Saturn begins and ends the month moving through the eighth degree of Pisces… this is largely due to its extremely slowed movements, as a result of its annual stationing to retrograde, occurring this year on June 17th at 7*13’ Pisces.
The eighth degree of Pisces announces a wake-up call, and a need for action.
