Solar Spotlights
Sun in Pisces, Aries
Through the first week of March the sun begins applying both Mars (by square) and Neptune (in conjunction), and the sun will move into the third decan of Pisces on March 11th—and paid subscribers will have access to this additional post.
Into the second week of March exacting both of these in a simultaneous t-square alignment through a degree that describes ‘a stirring from within…’, as Mercury conjoins the sun through this same dynamic—for a superior conjunction. All of this happening simultaneously, on March 16th, is truly, really something… I’ll be writing a separate post about this closer to that week in an effort to offer my paid subscribers a clearer insight toward that which may need taken advantage of more appropriately.
The sun will move into the first decan of Aries as the sun moves into Aries this year on March 20th, following Mercury, with the astrological new year/new moon occurring on the 21st at 0*50’ Aries—a degree that universally embodies rebirth and new emergences… and I will regard this, at the time, via Moon Moods.
The sun moves into the second decan of Aries on March 31st—also governed by Mars…
By the end of the month, the sun will also be applying conjunctions to the building Aries stellium—between Chiron, Jupiter, and asteroid Vesta—to be exact in April.
Monthly Moon Moods
The Moon Through March
The moon through March can be understood more fully via my Moon Moods posts…
The full moon occurs on March 7th at 16*40’ Virgo… this full moon begins what will become something of an aggressively dominant theme throughout the month, as it loosely squares Mars (22* Gemini) as the moon connects to Uranus by a single degree via trine—and all through a degree that associates itself with eruptions and/or explosions… astrologer Diana Roche writes of this degree, “this could turn out to be an unforgettable day… tension that has been building could climax in a crisis…” and, of course, the Virgoan aspect within this arrangement will need to clean up the mess.
The LQ moon occurs on March 14th at 24*13’ Sagittarius—again, aligning within an even tighter t-square with Mars (26* Gemini), this time the sun being the t of the alignment, conjunct Neptune by a single degree… and so it will be particularly relevant to acknowledge the previous energies of the full moon—as these will likely continue to build. The higher vibrations of these building energies could significantly bolster personal ambitions, and determine the potency of your inner will.
The new moon occurs on March 21st at 0*50’ Aries—and aligns with Mars (29* Gemini) by a traditional out-of-sign square… everything changes, and beginning anew will very much be the dominating theme—if there’s something within your personal reality that is no longer benefitting you or serving you: change it; move on; begin again. Even elements within structures and relationships that are serving you will likely present a shift toward new potentials and larger opportunities.
The 1stQ moon occurs on March 28th at 8*09’ Cancer, which provides an additional intrigue, as Mars has now also moved into Cancer (at 2* Cancer), and so this lunar event is no longer squaring Mars in any capacity—as Mars has likely already made its marks upon the inner and outer landscaping of your potentials by this point—though I would consider that there continues to be something of significance occurring here… whatever changes you made at the new moon, or shifts you maneuvered toward more, higher, better, or healthier—you will now be beckoned to continue further, or more deeply, depending upon your personal circumstance; if you failed to make any changes, this could be a harsh time for you.
Mercurial Machinations
Mercury in Aquarius, Pisces, Aries
Mercury begins the month of March applying a conjunction to Saturn…
This is something of an important detail—whether it manifests as a more seriously toned conversation, or a more sobering realization or awareness of something, an authoritative reminder of your obligations or responsibilities, or even a message that becomes heavy—it’ll likely have you thinking on it for some time.
Then Mercury quickly moves into Pisces…
Mercury is in its fall in Pisces and so mercurial pursuits through this time (from March 2nd through the 19th) are not ideal, particularly following whatever you were made aware of through the Mercury/Saturn conjunction—however impractical this may read—this is precisely the point: Mercury in Pisces tends to ponder the impractical and improbable, and absolutely distracted machinations of mental conundrum… and it is likely that a Saturn in Aquarius insight would not be understood appropriately.
Through this time, however, you will need to properly compute whatever it is.
Mercury will then move on toward its superior conjunction to the sun, on March 17th at 26*35’ Pisces, just separated from a conjunct to Neptune (26* Pisces), and applying a square to Mars (27* Gemini)… this is a powerful day—all-around—and I briefly mentioned this above… I will be writing an additional post for my paid subscribers, offering Mercury’s perspective of this planetary collaboration closer to the day.
Mercury moves into Aries on March 19th, and moves quickly to connect to the building Aries stellium, in conjunction—to Chiron on the 27th; to Jupiter on the 28th; and to Vesta on the 30th. I will go over Mercury’s perspective of these energies, as well, closer to the day, for my paid subscribers.
Venusian Ventures
Venus in Aries, Taurus
I’ve already written about Venus and its connections to the building Aries stellium, through its conjunctions to Jupiter, Vesta, and Chiron, and you can read about this here…
Venus will be separating from this by March 5th, and moving somewhat disconnectedly through Aries—perhaps only adding to an inspiration toward a much-needed sense of personal determination and/or renewed sense of purpose?—before squaring Pluto on March 16th at 29*52’, which would be the first major interchange between the two since December 31st, and this will be illuminated by the moon.
I’ll likely write an additional post for paid subscribers regarding this.
Then Venus moves into Taurus on March 17th—and Venus loves Taurus…
However. Uranus is in Taurus. So this absolutely depends upon your goals and preferences—how this transit will play itself out and/or be navigated.
Nearly immediately, on March 21st, Venus connects to the NN in conjunction through a degree assuring the overcoming of difficulties and obstacles—though, this is likely only on offer to those of you who have been actively working toward a solution on your own prior to this time… I wouldn’t expect any wishes to be received—unless you’re positioning yourself in a way that allows you to be open to receive an advantage that you have previously applied yourself through.
And finally, at the end of the month, on the 30th, Venus will connect to Uranus in conjunction through a degree describing oppositions… more on this closer to the date for my paid subscribers.
Mars Movements
Mars Moves into Cancer (FINALLY)
I’m not going to repeat it all again here—as I mentioned it above twice (through the Sun column and Mercury’s column)—and as with Mercury, I will write an additional post for my paid subscribers regarding Mars’ perspective upon the March 16th collaborations between the sun/Mercury superior conjunction conjunct Neptune—square Mars.
Further, Mars and its underlying motivations will be mentioned heavily through this month’s Moon Moods…
Beyond all this—MARS IS FINALLY MOVING INTO CANCER!!!
On March 25th, Mars moves into Cancer after being in Gemini since August of 2022.
This is big—and this will definitely be felt. And nearly immediately thereafter, on March 30th, Mars will connect to Saturn (newly in Pisces) by trine at 2*37’—a degree that speaks of determination…
This Mars/Saturn trine, however, will mark the first conversation for both of these planets now moving within new signs—and this will be a significant conversation to be aware of, particularly as it occurs between two traditionally malefic planets… I will be writing an additional post regarding this conversation for my paid subscribers—how to apply your determinations this year, as opposed to years in the past, will be specifically scrutinized through obliged circumspection.
I will also be writing an additional post about Mars moving through Cancer.
Junctures of Jupiter
Jupiter in Aries; Degrees 13—20*
Jupiter is moving within the all-month building stellium in Aries, with main planetary players—Vesta and Chiron—with cameo appearances of Venus, and then Mercury…
I will be writing additional posts—you’ve guessed it, for my paid subscribers—regarding Jupiter’s perspective and respective conjunctions with both Chiron and Vesta, which will be exact March 13th and 14th respectively. Beyond this, Jupiter has no additional aspects through the month—though this enmeshed entanglement is definitely enough to write additionally for, for some time.
The degrees of Aries Jupiter moves through in March, in sequence:
March 1st-5th—13* Aries: failed initiatives; carelessness; unpredictability
March 6-9th—14* Aries: temptations and compulsion; revelations
March 10-14th—15* Aries: active participation and diligence
March 15-18th—16* Aries: recognition of endings and beginnings
March 19th-22nd—17* Aries: divorcement, seclusion; independent thinking
March 23rd-26th—18* Aries: ruminations, contemplation, reorientation, transition
March 27th-31st—19* Aries: opportunities and possibilities via envisioning
March 31st-April 4th—20* Aries: assistance, generosity; helping vs interfering
If you would like any clarification with any of these degrees, please free to message me at the bottom, or email me.
Structures of Saturn
Saturn in Pisces
Saturn moves into Pisces on March 7th—and will remain in Pisces until May 25th, 2025; will retrograde back into Pisces on September 1st, 2025 and finally move into Aries on February 14th, 2026.
The last time Saturn was in Pisces was from January 29th, 1994 through April 7th, 1996—and I will write about this buoyantly heavy transit in an additional post, as there is much to discuss...
Obviously, if you were born between February of 1994 and March of 1996 you will be undergoing your first Saturn Return, or your 2nd Saturn Return if you were born between December of 1964 and February of 1967—and for those of you born between August of 1978 and September of 1980 you will be ‘up for review’ with your Saturn Opposition.
But for now—through the entire month of March, other than simply ingressing into Pisces, Saturn’s only aspecting includes its connection to Mars, by trine, which I mentioned above—I will be writing an additional post regarding Saturn’s perspective of this planetary interchange.
The degrees of Pisces, in sequence:
March 1st-6th—30* Aquarius/0* Pisces: survival and endurance
March 7-15th—1* Pisces: interchanges, disruptions, breakdowns
March 16-24th—2* Pisces: caution, self-preservation, discretions, precautions
March 25-April 2nd—3* Pisces: strength of character, stepping stones vs stumbling blocks
If you would like any clarifications with any of these degrees, please free to message me at the bottom, or email me.
