A Monthly Overview Review
Your Astrologically No-Nonsense Inspired Takeaway for March
I continue to yammer on about personal values—for good reason, please understand—and the embracing, revising, and surrendering to thereof, in addition to this eventual, inevitable emerging…
These two concepts—which is what they remain until activated, until applied, merely concepts—are intrinsically and inherently interlaced.
We are endlessly becoming.
We are endlessly evolving, or should be, just as the planets endlessly move…
This year’s month of March will set itself apart from any other month this year for many reasons, most of which is absolutely astrologically timed; this month we see Saturn move into Pisces from roughly two years in Aquarius, and Pluto moves into Aquarius for a handful of months after fifteen years in Capricorn, and Mars will finally move out of Gemini, after an extended transit due to retrograde—originally moving into Gemini back in August of 2022—and on into Cancer… three planets shifting signs in a single month, which is to say three powerful forces of energy are shifting their emphasis and intentions—all of which will endured and experienced.
I will be writing posts regarding each of these, separately…
To take yourself more seriously, and to honor your worth more devotedly, is to take the time (and you’ve likely had the inclination to do precisely this since January) to look more closely at what you value—and why.
To periodically re-examine and revise personal values is, indeed, its own kind of upkeep—a more spiritually charged kind of obligatory upkeep.
As we grow older we become so inundated with various obligations and responsibilities, many of which are arranged for others, or for security, or for something larger, or simply altogether not ours—and it is all too easy to become lax, or entirely negligent, of our own personal needs. Consciously or not. To an extent that taking the time and securing a boundary to protect this time—time to tend to yourself, for yourself—then, in result, through this participation, becomes a value.
And you will require this. Especially this month.
The lovely triple conjunction between Jupiter, Chiron, and asteroid Vesta, moving through Aries, is currently being graced by Venus, and by the end of the month will have lessons to be exchanged through Mercury—though right now, as Venus moves through, it is ideal for necessary healing, particularly tending to old emotional wounding… and isn’t that how many of us create our values in the first place?—in an effort to protect ourselves from being hurt again, or feeling insecure, or unprepared.
Use this first week to look inward and explore those parts of yourself you maybe haven’t touched upon in awhile—if ever.
Mid-month, as the simultaneous conjunction/square between Mercury, the sun and Neptune square Mars, will offer additional opportunities for you to actually apply some of the self-guidance you will instinctively re-attune yourself to through such efforts in self-exploration… and lessons aren’t typically learned until actually applied.
Remember, the sun is moving through the final degrees of Pisces, to begin again in Aries—which is symbolically equivalent to accumulating all the lessons throughout the entire zodiacal potential and finally accommodating the appropriate wisdoms to apply the knowledge upon something meaningful… and then, in Aries, it is possible to reapply beginner’s mind and see everything from an entirely fresh perspective.
Because the lesson was received—the wisdom, applied.
But first thing’s first—old haunts and past baggage must be dealt with. It will not wait.
Then, at the end of the month, upon the equinox and astrological new year—when the light begins to, more dramatically, express itself in longer lengths—we are symbolically reborn, we re-emerge free of burden, we become renewed.
Renewal, however, requires work: self-work, shadow-work, energy-work…
And arrival?—put that idea to the side for awhile.
Whether it is your inner knowing, your inner voice, your higher mind, or your authentic self—a version of yourself is emerging within you, and has been since January or before…
Listen to yourself—re-evaluate the ways in which you spend your time, and how you utilize your energies and resources, and explore new ways of being in an effort to break out of the perpetual cycle of inner discontent, pain, or fear. Many, many realities, preferences, specificities or otherwise that existed before 2020, despite however efficiently they worked for you then, these realities are no longer available—it is time to find new ways of doing many things within your personal reality, and these will be different for everyone.
We are at a crucial and extremely critical time of transition within our ephemerality of Life and Time as we know it to be.
We have never been here, in this precious place of divined confrontation…
Reconnecting with Self will be a tremendously soothing thing as we move forward—so coming to terms with yourself, whatever that looks like for you, is strongly advised.
“To be or not to be? That is not the question. What is the question?
The question is not one of being—but of becoming. ‘To become more or not to become more…’ —this is the question faced by each intelligence in our universe.”
