The current sun/Pluto cycle began back on January 20th, 2023 through the last degree of Capricorn—you know, when all hell was still breaking loose—as this is a potent and pressure-filled degree that speaks of a towering resolve to evolve, grow, and bring all of oneself into the world. This cycle has been one of soul-level commitment and transformation, with Pluto guiding us through deep inner and outer processes of evolution, particularly around power, control, and destiny.

WHERE WE’VE BEEN…
The Beginning—January 20, 2023 at 30* Capricorn
The moment of conjunction that initiated this cycle with a heightened sense of destiny and purpose occurred through a degree that describes an intense internal pressure to bring the greater self into action, to work through karmic residues, and to focus on soul evolution… there is an adamant, unyielding quality here, as if we’ve been tasked with a monumental responsibility (which we’ve been tasked with since 2020). This is where the seed was planted—the resolve to bring our whole selves into the world, to honor both body and spirit, and to (eventually) ascend, despite the weight of what we’ve taken on.

This was a liminal, enchanted space—held by protective forces and guided by the unseen.
Yet, at the same time, it introduced a feeling of timelessness and cast-off karma, where we were free to explore and experiment with life in a broader, more visionary way… the tensions a that time came from the contrasts between the inward spiritual journey and the expansive, experimental approaches we have in life.
