Venus in Leo & Conclusions of an Ending Cycle

Venus in Leo—

Venus is in Leo now. When Venus moves through Leo it inspires the warmth and motivation of self-love, and working to improve upon the ways in which you express this love—toward yourself, as well as toward others, and toward Life itself.

Venus in Leo feels like abundance, and joy. It inspires inner contentment.

Venus in Leo is just fun. It’s fun and it’s happiness, celebrations, and genuine warmth of spirit… it’s that ‘good to be alive’ feeling that we’re all endlessly seeking. To further convince you of how carefree and fancy-free Leo is, most specifically when Venus is within its bounds—it should give you a pretty good idea how fun Leo can be when Saturn is in its fall in Leo… even Saturn cannot be a party-pooper at a party Leo hosts.

Through this particular venture through Leo, Venus will square Jupiter and the NN, appear in the sky to be chasing down Mars in an anticipated conjunction that never concludes doe to retrograde, squares Uranus, and connects to Chiron by trine…

Then in July—the real magic begins…

On July 21st Venus stations to retrograde at 29* Leo while aspecting the NN exactly. Which is to say that as the NN shifts into Aries—as the NN is always beginning upon the last degree, moving permanently backward—as the NN aspects Pluto, exactly, by square, creating a t-square alignment with the sun, moving toward the final degree of Cancer… this will be a moment—one which we will discuss in July—though it will have everything to do with issues and matters of self-worth, self-confidence, and, you’ve guessed it, patterns and conditionings, and inherent inabilities to express self-love.

This is concluding a cycle that last occurred in 2015.

However, through June, these matters and issues will still only be emerging—to be ultimately acknowledged, confronted, tackled and actively resolving through August.

And this is where I would like to focus today.

But first—a review.

The Beginnings of the Current Venus Cycle—

On June 4th Venus moved into its maximum elongation, at 29*09’ Cancer, peaking within its current cycle, within a phase referred to as Wholeness—a phase which inspires maturity, fullness of heart, and actualization, as well as an underlying need to begin reaching further… and through this degree, these motivations are inspired through integrity, a courage to feel fully alive, and to protect that which holds worth.

Although, this current Venus cycle is near its conclusion—it will end on August 13th and begin a fresh, new cycle…

This phase is a phase within a cycle that began on January 9th, 2022, at an inferior conjunction with the sun that occurred through the eighteenth degree of Capricorn…

It was at that time you were likely making many choices in regard to future securities.

By mid-month of that January in 2022 you were likely beginning to realize, most directly, that feeling sorry for yourself in any way was not going to go very far, nor would it ultimately offer you what you actually needed for security or stability.

By the end of January, when Venus stationed direct, at its maximum brightness, on January 31st, 2022, at 11* Capricorn, you were probably beginning to develop a much more defined distinctiveness of self, self-worth, and capability… opportunities were all around you, and both growth and expansion on the ready.

By March of 2022 the obstacles began to trickle in… maybe you needed to ask for help.

By September of 2022 you were beginning to get to the bottom of whatever it was continuing to hold you back… and to do this, you likely needed to reconnect with your own personal authenticities.

An interesting turn-of-events occurred in October of 2022, when Venus’ five-point star configuration shifted ever-so-slightly from Scorpio—into Libra for the first time in who knows how long… not to mention, this occurred at the superior conjunction with the sun—a phase that involves preparations, forging, alchemizing, transformations, and change—upon the last degree of Libra—which is its own detail—setting a heavy tone to actively make some serious changes from within yourself.

Though, this particular October was likely something of an upheaval—emotionally or otherwise, requiring much participation in regard to address these necessary changes and preparations… and as it was the last degree, it may have been quite obvious that something quite fundamental was coming to an end.

By December of 2022 you likely felt as though you could (re)create your entire reality.

Ambitious thinking requires strategy, and strategy requires setting goals and priorities, determined actions, and… resources. It may have been at this point when you realized that you might be missing something, or that something additional was now necessary to incorporate into your larger plans. Still, these potential setbacks were unlike other setbacks—these were the kind the empower, the kind that stimulate growth and agreeable flexibility, and consequentially open to even more opportunity…

And now. Here we are. In June. What’s next? How does this cycle conclude?

What yet is to be done to properly conclude this so as not need to repeat it in eight years?
