Venus is in Pisces… this always makes me a little giddy—I love Venus in Pisces.
There’s something very mystical and ethereal about Venus, when in Pisces—which Venus is typically not, and so it’s sort of a real joy to experience this.
When Venus is in Pisces—it’s an ideal time to schedule that spa package getaway...
When Venus is in Pisces—it’s an ideal time to:
acknowledge, consider, and appreciate the abstract
tip your bartender, or buy quality booze
spend time with animals, and if you have animals—spend a little extra time, energy, money, care, and attention on them
buy art or go to an art gallery or museum
go to the ocean…
book an astrological reading… for real
fish—from a boat!
buy a new pair of luxury boots—or better yet, kitten heels
embrace the chaos
go to church, maybe even sing
take time to watch the clouds roll by…
supplement so as not to catch anything
paint a room needing repainted white or blue, or cerulean…
avoid conspiracies
visit a convent, interview one of the nuns
watch crime tv in an effort to sympathize with the criminals
dance, literally anywhere for any reason
feed the homeless or feral cats in an alley
prepare for emotional disappointments
prepare the blow your nose that much more—either from tears or higher discharges of mucus
participate in the dissolving of something
tour a distillery, and sample the goods
deep-sea dive
inhale, and exhale
visit Egypt, or England, or Europe as a whole, or Florida
escape (hopefully it’s just from your routine!)
don’t tell, share, or accept lies or falsehoods
embrace February, for all its highs and lows
pamper your feet
buy a fern and water it and love it and “don’t let it die!”
journal fictions for fun, just to release…
take the time to find the best deal when filling up your car
embrace fog—with caution, of course
throw a penny in a fountain
don’t underestimate holy water
visit a hospital and ask to see anyone who needs some company
donate—anything
watch your level of intoxication (it might be much lower)
google jellyfish or go to an aquarium and just watch in fascination…
read the Bible or other religious text
flirt with your limitations
entertain yourself with what your pen name would be, or alias, or stripper name…
research the occult sciences and traditions
take photos—lots of them—of anything; decide to document your month
direct yourself toward water whenever you’re able
take a ton of baths if you can
redirect the plot of your life
write poetry
don’t drink the bottle labeled poison—seriously
empathize with poverty, regardless of your thoughts or theories—even for a moment
pretend… at anything
volunteer your time—particularly with relief work
go on retreat (near water or hot springs!)
retire if that’s where you are in life—can you imagine that chart!?
sacrifice something
research the saints
go somewhere for the sand, and let it fall through your fingers…
beware of schemers
participate in a seance
tell someone a secret… or offer yourself a secret
be careful/mindful to not hurt yourself accidentally
undo yourself in some way…
prepare for sensitivities, in nearly any way…
did I mention buying new shoes?—really nice, quality new shoes
try any type of simulation
beware of sinks and plumbing issues
…and sleepwalking
…and sorrows
surf
swim
have sympathy for others
…and understanding
drink lots of water
and maybe try writing a letter for someone you care for
Through this time—between now and February 20th—Venus will connect with:
Mars by square—and this is a big deal
the North Node by sextile
Neptune in conjunction—which will be quite influential…
Let’s delineate this in a separate post—enjoy your Venus in Pisces transit XO, JJ
