The Beginning/Conjunction—March 21st at 13* Pisces
This current Venus/Saturn cycle was initiated on the first day of spring… initiating, as well, a profound exploration of karmic themes, time and inner growth—with each phase, unfolding a deeper and deeper yet layer of its essence…
At its core, however, the cycle speaks to the tensions between what is tangible and what is ineffable, between external structures and inner mysteries…
The energies here have invited us into a delicate balance between the desire for connection and tangible love… and the actual weights of limitations, responsibilities, and isolation.
The birth of this cycle asked us to retreat into the depths of our inner worlds, to disengage from external appearances in order to dream and imagine something entirely new… it was a moment of true germination—a hidden, creative process beneath the surface.
Here, we were transported into a space where profound, subconscious qualities could take root, thought they remained largely unseen…
this was not a time for outer validation, but for inner cultivation—a call to honor the mysteries growing within… the challenge was to remain detached from external pressures, trusting that what was emerging from the ‘incubation’ would eventually bear fruit.

The 1st Q Square—June 8th at 20* Gemini/Pisces
Back on June 8th was the first quarter square between Venus and Saturn—one of potent contradiction and deep resonance… it brought us face to face with the subtle boundaries between life and death, and between indulgence and redemption.
The energy of this cycle, at this point, had begun to encounter frictions…
What started as deep creative gestation became a confrontation with the walls we’ve built around ourselves—walls of isolation and rigid self-consistency.
This square represented a critical juncture where the effort to maintain our uniqueness, without being corroded by external influences, started to feel… restrictive.
The call here was to notice how this self-preservation had led to a kind of separative alienation… and the lesson was to crack open—to stop holding so tightly to what ‘should be’, and to re-enter the world with a fresh perspective, free from assumptions.
However, Saturn’s influence likely made it clear that this wouldn’t happen without a struggle—and that hard experiences would be necessary to dissolve these barriers…
On one side, Venus—then in Gemini—was seeking boundlessness, exploration, adventure, and openness in relationships while Saturn in Pisces was weighing the heart against heavier, karmic truths… the degree through which this square occurred suggested a complex dance between inevitabilities of extremes—and the choices we made in response to loss, cycles of recurrence, and the redemptive potential of endings.
THEMES:
Confronting Loss—the energy to death described in this degree reminded guys that endings imprint upon us deeply, whether in relationships, personal beliefs, or patterns… this square brought up an urgency to confront what had been lost—to acknowledge that some parts of us are irrevocably changed
Cycles of Recurrence—there was a danger here of getting caught in a loop; repeating old patterns, especially those based on pain or fear… Venus was wanting to roam free of these, but Saturn’s grip on the past pulled us into confrontations with unresolved grief or memories—here was laid a choice: do I indulge in old patterns, or do I seek growth through release?
Regeneration vs Regression—there was potential for deep regeneration in June, to move beyond mourning what’s gone and to connect with the ‘lively ones among the dead…’ this imagery was speaking to the idea that even in loss, there’s a vital energy that can be reclaimed—if you were willing to move past habitual grief into a space of creative becoming
ACTIONS & REFLECTIONS:
Honor What’s Dying—whether it was a relationship dynamic, an old self-image, or a belief system: if you used this square to reflect on what needs to end in your life, ritualizing it, perhaps, through journaling, creating art, or meditative contemplation… if you asked yourself: what am I holding onto that no longer serves me?—this was progress
Resist the Pulls of Regression—Saturn in Pisces was leading you to places and spaces of resignation, through temptations to sink into passive detachment and emotional limbo… if you used those energies, from Venus in Gemini, to break the spells of inertia, to take action, even in the smallest steps… to move forward—if you did this, whether it was starting a new project, traveling, or simply changing a daily routine—every little shift counted
Engage with Both Grief & Joy—there was a beauty in the balance, back in June, between grief and celebration… if you let Venus’ desire for connection encourage you to seek joy, even in moments of sorrow—to seek out connections with others who could have celebrated life’s ongoing cycles with you… this would be progress
GUIDANCE:
Trust in Time—Saturn’s influence reminded us that cycles complete themselves, and sometimes all we can do it wait… if you trusted that transformation was occurring, even if it felt like you were stuck—this was progress
Seek Depth in Relationships—Venus in Gemini may have wanted you to keep things lights and adventurous, but Saturn (which has the last say, by the way) was asking you to go deeper… if you focused on the relationships that helped you face your inner world, and were wary of distractions that kept you on the surface—this was progress
Allow Space for Grief—If you didn’t rush the process of release, whether it was about letting go of a past relationship, a dream or an old version of yourself—and allowed yourself to feel the full spectrum of emotions, without judgment from yourself or any other: this was the ultimate in personal growth

The Opposition—August 19th at 18* Leo/Pisces
By the opposition, as the cycle reached dits midpoint, it was beginning to represent a moment of culmination and confrontation with external forces…
The opposition asked us to look at the progress we’ve made since the cycle’s inception, back in June—whether we’ve embraced the subtle germinations or fallen into patterns of isolation.
The imagery of ‘living infinitely alone, dreaming and drugged’ reflected the shadow of this process; feelings suspended in limbo, disconnected from the evolving worlds around us.
Yet. At the same time, this opposition carried the energy of creative potential, stirring just beneath the surface—asking us to recognize that while we may have felt distanced or removed from life’s flow… something was indeed brewing within, and our disconnection was being allowed for an alternative vision to form—one that could offer something entirely new to the world…
Synthesis of the Cycle’s Themes:
The Call to Inner Depths—this cycle asked you to go inward, to disengage from superficial connections, and to allow deep, often unconscious processes to unfold… the cycle has been about recognizing that certain transformations cannot happen in the outer world but must be nurtured in private, dream-like states…
Isolation as Both Gift & Burden—there is a tension between isolation as a space for deep personal cultivation and isolation as a trap of self-referential stagnation… the challenge had been to find a balance between these two—using solitude fro creative and spiritual growth, while not becoming so detached that you lost the ability to connect with others and the evolving world…
Breaking Through Patterns—the lessons of this cycle have consistently pointed to the dangers of holding onto outdated patterns, assumptions, and ways of being… each phase has asked you to let go of rigidity and to be willing to reinvent yourself, especially when you felt most trapped by your circumstances…
Creative Potentials—beneath the surface of this cycle was/is an immense creative force—an alternative way of seeing and being that, if allowed to emerge, could reshape the world around you… these cycle is about cultivating that creativity in silence, then finding the right moment to share it with others…
Guidance Moving Forward…
Trusting the Process—Saturn’s influence reminds us that timing is everything… though it may feel like you’re stuck in limbo, trusting that the cycles is progressing s it should, and that these deep inner processes will eventually manifest in the outer world…
Embracing Vulnerability—as you move through the latter stages of this cycle, it’s important to open yourself to others, even if it feels risky… as there is a tendency to isolate needs to be balanced with moments of connection, especially with those who resonate with your evolving inner visions…
Breaking Old Patterns—the upcoming phases will continue to challenge any residual rigidities… be willing to let go of outdated self-images and ways of relating—allow life to crack you open, knowing that the new energy emerging from within is necessary for your personal evolution…

Where We Are Now—the LQ Square at 13* Sagittarius/Pisces
Allow me to offer several reflective questions to contemplate as we navigate this current point within this ongoing cycle…
How can I acknowledge and honor past losses or endings without becoming ensnared in cycles of nostalgia or grief?
Where in my life an I ‘suspended’ or lingering in limbo, unable to fully participate, and how might I begin to unbind myself from this emotional stasis?
Am I repeating old patterns of attachment that draw me closer to unhealed wounds, or can I open myself to a new chapter where death—of identities, relationships, or past dreams—becomes a regenerative force?
What aspects of my past am I magnetized to relive, and what would it mean to step beyond the familiarity of these memories to embrace the unknown and unformed?
How can I reframe my affinity with endings to align with a vision of life as a ‘free becoming’, allowing my present self to celebrate change as deeply as I once feared it?
The Upcoming Conjunction—on January 18th, 2025 at 17* Pisces
The upcoming Venus/Saturn conjunction marks the culmination of this grave cycle of introspection, isolation, and transformation…
As this current phase draws to a close and a new cycle begins—the energy shifts from the shadowed world of limbo, loss, and karmic looping to a place of deeper, more conscious alignment with this future… this degree describes a powerful moment of transition, where you are not merely witness to the past—but an active seed-bearer for the future.
This next conjunction holds the potential for something truly magical and transcendant—where what has been gestating in the depths of the subconscious is now ready to emerge into conscious awareness.
You will be held in the ‘womb of the world’, carrying the legacy of everything that has come before and everything that will unfold… it’s a time for recognizing the sacred responsibilities of carrying forward not just your personal lessons, but the collective wisdom that you’ve gathered throughout this cycle.
Conclusions of This Cycle:
The energies leading up to this conjunction will test your resilience.
You have faced isolation, the haunting echoes of unresolved karmic patterns, and the challenge of breaking freeform rigid self-consistency… but these trials were not in vain. Through opposition, you were reminded of the latent potential beneath the surface—deep creative forces working within you, germinating in the subconscious—and as this phase completes, you will see that what once felt like exile was, in fact, a necessary retreat—a chance to witness, dream, and prepare for a profound contribution to the world.
The New Cycle Beginning:
The theme will shift from isolation to integration…
Here, we are no longer trapped in a cycle of recurrence, but are instead called to recognize yourself as a ‘seed-bearer of the future’… or, rather: a ‘harbinger of new beginnings’, or a ‘custodian of emerging potential’…
You are being charged with the responsibility of nurturing the wisdom you’ve acquired, letting it grow into something that serves both your personal evolution and the collective journey… the degree through which this will occur describes being inwardly alive to multi-sensory experiences, bearing a legacy from deep, primordial realms—an earth-call that connects you with all that has ever been and all that will ever be.
No big deal… *wink*
This new Venus/Saturn cycle represents a more hopeful and grounded engagement with life…
You are still ‘radically other’, and aware of your unique journey, but by January you will be making the most of your time, embracing the beauty and quirks of your human experience…. this will be a time to fully embody the lessons you’ve learned and to use your otherworldly insights to contribute to the ongoing unfolding of Life.
GUIDANCE FOR MOVING FORWARD:
Embrace Your Role as Seed-Bearer/Harbinger of New Beginnings/Custodian or Emerging Potentials—you are no longer simply a witness to life’s unfolding; you are now a participant in shaping the future… use the wisdom and insights you’ve gathered from this cycle to create something lasting and meaningful…
Stay Connected to Both Past & Future—this new cycle invites you to honor the deep connections between what has come before and what is yet to come… trust that the future will resonate with everything you’ve experienced, even the most difficult moments of this cycle…
Celebrate Your Unique Journey—while you may still fell ‘immensely in exile’… this is no longer your journey, or source of suffering; instead, it’s a space from which you can observe and appreciate the dazzling complexity of life on earth… embrace your uniqueness and your role as both an observer and a creator.
